At Thunder K Ranch, we understand the challenges of a correct saddle fit and we have overcome those challenges in conjunction with Team Equine Custom Saddle Pads, by developing the Thunder Pad. Through many hours in the saddle and plenty of wet saddle pads, we have developed a pad (Thunder Pad 4.0) that is a perfect combination for performance, pleasure riders, and everyone in between.

Features
Lined with wetsuit neoprene.
- Creates a non-slip surface, eliminating pad shift while under saddle.
- Easy clean surface. Easily wipe hair, dirt, and sweat away after rides.
- Easy to disinfect between horses.
- Promotes sweat to ensure a gall free experience.
- Pad felt will remain dry, even after an entire day of intense riding and workouts.
Vent holes (2 or 3 depending on pad size) along the spin to allow air to circulate between the horse's back, pad, and saddle.
Cut back wither design allows the pad to fit multiple withers and shoulder shapes. Including mutton and high withered horses.
Adjustable Velcro strap to prevent reins from falling in between the pad and horse while riding.
6 adjustable shims that can be configured to correct most improperly fitting saddle issues.
- Shims come in 1/2" or 1/4" thicknesses in either felt (softer support) or foam (firmer support) material.
- Shims can also be cut to fit around pressure points.
- Pad can also be used without shims or with all the shims to create a thicker padded surface.
Pad is contoured to the horse's back.
Every pad is hand sewn in Molalla, Oregon. USA.
All pads are customizable to fit you and your horse's personality.

Thunder Pad 3.0 for horses that are allergic to neoprene, we offer an alternative lining option made from closed cell foam that offers many of the same benefits as the wetsuit neoprene.
